On Friday 15 November at 4.30pm thecentre:mk will officially celebrate the opening of Christmas in Milton Keynes. The regional shopping destination will be transformed, welcoming Snow White to ‘The Land of Enchanted Dreams’ while Warwick Davis, one of the stars of this years Milton Keynes Theatre’s pantomime, Snow White and The Seven Dwarves will be leading the parade!
The parade will kick off at Door 2 at 4.30pm, proceeding down Midsummer Arcade to reach Middleton Hall. Santa’s Grotto in the fairytale castle will be open following the procession right through til 6pm on Christmas Eve.

Throughout Middleton Hall visitors can see Snow White and her friends in a range of different scenes, marvelling at the gem tree overlooking the show from the centre of the hall. Visitors can also enjoy a ride through the display on the Heart Radio train, donate coins to this year’s wishing pool, and browse the cabins for gift ideas and stocking fillers for their loved ones. The traditional carousel is also back and there will be interactive mirrors and games for families to try their hand at.

Sue Anderson – Brown, Interim Centre Director at thecentre:mk commented “thecentre:mk is the heart of Milton Keynes and last year we welcomed over 2.5million visitors to the Christmas show. This year we hope to do the same, attracting visitors from all over the region to share in the wonder of our award winning display.”
